2018 Rimac C Two

The Rimac C Two (C_Two) is an all-electric semi-autonomous sports car designed and manufactured by the Croatian automotive manufacturer Rimac Automobili. This is the automaker's second car after the Rimac Concept One. It wears a design by the Croatian-born Austrian Adriano Mudri.

The Rimac C_Two made its debut at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show and Rimac plans on building 150 examples.

The C_Two has a full carbon-fibre monocoque with bonded carbon roof, integrated structural battery pack and rear carbon subframe, with crash structures formed from aluminum and carbon-fibre. This structure is both light and strong.

There is a pair of single-speed gearboxes that apply drive to the front wheels. Additionally a pair of two-speed gearboxes (one for each rear wheel) allow the C_Two to make use of its torque.

The Rimac C_Two is capable of Level 4 autonomous driving with full Advanced driver-assistance system.

The C_Two has hypercar performance figures and an equally impressive and exotic exterior. Instead of conventional doors, it has butterfly doors. Along with doing away with endless kerb side drama, they offer generous space for sophisticated entry and egress. In the front are high-intensity LED lights with each headlight containing a hand-built squadron of 58-LEDs choreographed by a Rimac control unit, equipped with its own ventilation system. The rear lights also utilize integrated air-outlet tunnels. At all four corners are lightweight, forged alloy wheels which feature a unique aerodynamic design that channels cooling air to the carbon-ceramic braking system and ensures smooth airflow down the flanks of the car. The tires were developed in conjunction with Pirelli.

The C_Two was designed as a true grand tourer, with interior space for two occupants and their luggage. There are fully electrically-adjustable sport seats and steering column. The luggage compartment is located in the rear of the vehicle and can even be configured in a variety of specifications.
