The previous Racing Point Force India F1 Team is now the Racing Point UK Limited, competing as Racing Point F1 team. They are based in Silverstone, United Kingdom, and competing with a British license. In August of 2018, the assets of the then-existing Sahra Force India F1 team were purchased by investors including André Desmarais, Jonathan Dudman, John D. Idol, John McCaw Jr., Michael de Picciotto, and Silas Chou and led by Lawrence Stroll. During the 2018 championship season, they competed under the name 'Racing Point Force India.' The car for the 2019 season is the Racing Point RP19 Mercedes. Drivers include Sergio Perez and Lance Strolls.
