1967 Pontiac Bonneville

Pontiac introduced its fourth generation of Bonneville styling in 1965 which would continue, with annual changes, through 1970. The wheelbase of its B-Body platform grew by an inch to 124-inches (with an eight-inch longer overall length) and its styling mimicked the styling trends of the era, embracing the pronounced 'Coke body' designs with rakish fender lines and fastback rooflines on coupes. The engine options remained unchanged with the standard 389 CID V8 with four-barrel carburetion offering 333 horsepower. Optional engines included the 421 CID V8, plus Tri-Power multi-carburetion and higher compression ratios were available on both the 389 and the 421. GM's Turbo-Hydramatic 400 transmission introduced in 1964 became available on the Pontiac for 1965.

The 1966 Bonneville underwent minor styling updates to its front and rear, trim and bright work. The interior gained a more squared-up dashboard and minor changes in instrumentation.

The 1967 Pontiac Bonneville had a grille-in-bumper front design with the word Bonneville positioned on the left-hand grille and an updated rear fascia. The overall shaped taillights were shared with the Catalina and Executive, but with three individual lenses. It had rear panel and rocker accent moldings, and fender skirts. The overhead-valve V8 displaced 400 cubic inches and had five main bearings, hydraulic valve lifters, a four-barrel Carter carburetor, and delivered 333 horsepower at 5,000 RPM. With the Turbo-Hydramatic installed and 10.5:1 compression, output was rated at 325 bhp.

The two-door hardtop coupe was priced at $3,225, the hardtop sedan at $3,515, the convertible at $3,680, and the station wagon with seating for nine at $3,820. The most popular body style was the hardtop sedan with 56,307 examples built, followed by 31,016 of the hardtop coupe, 8,902 of the convertible, and 6,771 of the station wagon.
