Receiving a fresh new appearance just two model years ago, the 'right-sized' 5-passenger Rogue Sport is designed as the intelligent crossover that amplifies the excitement of city life.

Rogue Sport is available in three well-equipped trim levels – S, SV and SL – each offered in front-wheel and Intelligent All-Wheel Drive configurations.

Setting the standard for confidence

2022 Nissan Rogue SportNissan Safety Shield® 360 is standard on all 2022 Rogue Sport grades, providing front, side and rear safety monitoring and intervention technologies4. Safety Shield® 360 includes Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Rear Automatic Braking, Lane Departure Warning, radar-based Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and High Beam Assist.

The 2022 Rogue Sport is also equipped with standard Intelligent Forward Collision Warning5, which watches up to two cars ahead and when it detects sudden deceleration in front of the vehicle, gives a warning to slow down. The standard Intelligent Lane Intervention6 can detect if the vehicle is straying out of its lane and can tap the brakes to help gently guide the vehicle back.

Also standard on Rogue Sport SL are Intelligent Driver Alertness7 and Traffic Sign Recognition. Intelligent Driver Alertness7 is also available with the SV Technology Package.

In addition, the list of standard Rogue Sport safety and security features includes the Nissan Advanced Air Bag System with dual-stage supplemental front air bags with seat belt and occupant classification sensors; front seat-mounted side impact supplemental air bags; roof-mounted curtain side impact supplemental air bags with rollover sensor for front and rear-seat outboard occupant head protection; supplemental rear seat-mounted side air bags; and supplemental front knee air bags.

Sporty exterior, bold color choices

2022 Nissan Rogue Sport
The Rogue Sport's compact body projects a powerful presence with large fender volume and a wheel-oriented stance, a bold front fascia and hood, V-motion grille and bumper and standard LED signature Daytime Running Lights. In the rear, the combination light design matches the dynamic look of the front end. The exterior also features a large rear opening and a wide rear body appearance, along with a standard rear spoiler. LED low- and high-beam headlights with auto on/off function and fog lights are also available.
Other exterior details include body-color front and rear bumpers, black wheel arches and roof molding, body-color outside mirrors with available integrated turn signals, heated outside mirrors and roof rails. Also offered is a power sliding moonroof with sliding shade as part of the SL Premium Package.

Rogue Sport S and SV grades offer 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with 215/65R17 all-season tires. Rogue Sport SL comes with a 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheel design mounted with 225/45R19 all-season tires, providing a more premium look.

For 2022, Rogue Sport is available in nine exterior colors: Nitro Lime Metallic, Monarch Orange Metallic (premium color), Magnetic Black Pearl, Brilliant Silver Metallic, Gun Metallic, Scarlet Ember Tintcoat (premium color), Pearl White TriCoat (premium color), Glacier White and Caspian Blue Metallic.

A sporty yet refined interior

2022 Nissan Rogue Sport
The Rogue Sport interior is designed to keep up with owners' active lifestyles. It has the commanding ride height of a compact SÚV, combined with a driver-oriented cockpit that provides a sporty, fun-to-drive feel.

Seating includes a standard 6-way adjustable driver's seat, 4-way adjustable front passenger seat, 60/40 split fold-down rear seat with rear seat center armrest and rear seat heating/cooling center console vents.

Behind the 2nd row seat is up to 22.9 cu. ft. of cargo space (up to 61.1 cu. ft. with the 2nd row seat folded down), accessible through the wide rear hatch. Rogue Sport also offers the innovative class-exclusive8 Divide-N-Hide® Cargo System, which is standard on SV and SL grades. Included as standard on all grades are a cargo area cover and six luggage hooks (four floor, two side).

The instrument panel features Fine Vision electroluminescent gauges and 5.0-inch center meter color display. The front center console includes an integrated armrest and storage compartment, along with a 12-volt power outlet. Rogue Sport SV and SL grades include Nissan Intelligent KeyTM with Push Button Start.

Two interior colors are offered: Charcoal and Light Gray, along with available Gun Metal or Gloss Black finishers. Rogue Sport SL features stylish Gloss Black/Silver painted interior finishers.

Standard Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, available ProPILOT Assist

2022 Nissan Rogue SportNissan's innovative ProPILOT Assist is standard on the SL grade and optional on SV. ProPILOT Assist is a 'hands-on' driving assistance technology that eases driver workload by reducing the amount of driver acceleration, steering and braking input under certain driving conditions, such as single-lane highway driving.3

All 2022 Rogue Sport models include Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility, with a NissanConnect® 7.0-inch color touch-screen display. Rogue Sport also has a number of available connected technology and smartphone integration features, including Nissan Door to Door Navigation and NissanConnect® Services powered by SiriusXM® (SiriusXM® subscription required, sold separately), which is standard on Rogue Sport SL models.

Other standard interior features include SiriusXM® Radio (SiriusXM® subscription required, sold separately), 4-speaker AM/FM/CD audio system with auxiliary audio input jack, ÚSB connection port for iPod® interface and other compatible devices, Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System, Streaming Audio via Bluetooth®, Hands-free Text Messaging Assistant (compatible smartphone required) and RearView Monitor. Available Remote Engine Start system9 provides flexibility to start the Rogue Sport remotely using the keyless entry fob. Rear Door Alert system is also standard on all 2022 Rogue Sport grade levels.

2.0-liter engine, nimble handling, available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive

Rogue Sport, while sharing the popular Rogue name and Common Module Family platform, stands on its own as a stylish, nimble, fun-to-drive and affordable compact SÚV. The Rogue Sport has a shorter wheelbase and shorter overall length than Rogue, helping make it more maneuverable in city traffic and an ideal size for tight city parking spaces.
Every 2022 Rogue Sport comes equipped with a standard 2.0-liter DOHC 16-valve inline 4-cylinder rated at 141 horsepower @ 6,000 rpm and 147 lb-ft of torque @ 4,400 rpm. The engine features Direct Injection Gasoline system, Twin Continuously Variable Valve Timing Control on both intake and exhaust, Diamond Like Carbon-coated valve lifters, Tumble Control Valve and an 11.2:1 compression ratio. The engine is matched with an Xtronic transmission with standard Eco Mode switch.

Fuel economy2 is rated at 25 mpg city, 32 mpg highway and 28 mpg combined for front-wheel drive models. Rogue Sport AWD models are rated at 24 mpg city, 30 mpg highway and 27 mpg combined2.

The nimble handling is the result of the 104.2-inch wheelbase and 4-wheel independent suspension – a front independent-strut suspension with stabilizer bar and twin-tube shock absorbers and multi-link independent rear suspension with twin-tube shock absorbers and stabilizer bar. While many competitors in the compact SÚV segment choose a rear torsion beam suspension, Rogue Sport offers an independent rear multi-link design to provide that extra sense of dynamic performance. Nissan believes buyers coming into this segment, usually as first time SÚV owners, want to enjoy driving excitement and feel a connection to the road.

Responsive steering is provided by an Electric Power-assisted Steering with Sport setting. Four-wheel vented disc brakes with Anti-lock Braking System with Electronic Brake force Distribution and Brake Assist are also standard.

The available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system can quickly respond and adapt to changing conditions. Intelligent AWD initially delivers power to both front and rear wheels for improved grip. Once the vehicle is up to speed, the system sends all of the power up front (100:0 ratio), resulting in higher efficiency. In slick conditions and tight corners, Intelligent AWD automatically transfers the optimal amount of power from front to rear, up to 50:50.1

Every Rogue Sport also offers a standard Tire Pressure Monitoring System with position monitoring and Nissan's innovative Easy-Fill Tire Alert. Hill Start Assist is also standard, along with a suite of confidence-inspiring dynamic technologies – Active Trace Control, Active Engine Braking and Active Ride Control.

Three well-equipped Rogue Sport trim levels

The 2022 Nissan Rogue Sport comes in three well-equipped trim levels – S, SV and SL, each available in a choice of front-wheel or all-wheel drive.

Along with the long list of standard features found on Rogue Sport S, the Rogue Sport SV adds Dual-Zone Automatic Temperature Control, Nissan Intelligent KeyTM, two additional audio system tweeters, silver finished roof rack, dual illuminated vanity mirrors, LED turn signal indicators on the outside mirrors, heated outside mirrors, Divide-N-Hide® Cargo System and Quick Comfort® heated front seats, remote engine start9 system with Intelligent Climate Control, heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, fog lights and leather-wrapped shift knob .

Rogue Sport SL models include leather-appointed front seats, NissanConnect with Navigation and Services and NissanConnect Services powered by SiriusXM® (SiriusXM® subscription required, sold separately) and ProPILOT Assist3. Also included are a seatback pocket on driver's seat, Intelligent Around View® Monitor, 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with 225/45R19 all-season tires, Intelligent Driver Alertness6 and Traffic Sign Recognition.

Two optional equipment packages are offered – Technology Package (SV) and Premium Package (SL).
