The Red Bull Racing RB19 was driven during the 2023 Formula One season by defending world champion Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez. Honda supplied the engines for Red Bull Racing and AlphaTauri, with both teams' engines badged as Honda RBPT. The engine proved highly effective, and combined with a talented list of drivers and a team that successfully implemented the extensive rule changes, the RB19 won 21 out of the 22 races it competed in, becoming the most dominant car in the history of the Formula One World Championship. The RB19 was an improvement over its predecessor, the RB18, which had dominated the 2022 F1 season. Updates were made to the ground-effect floor, the side-pod design, minimum ride height, and mirror size. The turbocharged hybrid V6 engine, referred to as an RBPT Honda, displaced 98 cubic inches and was paired with an electric motor and a Honda lithium-ion battery. Along with 21 victories during 22 races of the 2023 Formula 1 season, the RB19 earned 30 podium finishes, 14 pole positions, and 11 fastest laps. It won the Constructors' Championships for Red Bull Racing and the Drivers' Championships for Max Verstappen.
