In the 1950s and 1960s, Lancia was Italy's most aristocratic marque, exemplifying high technology, refinement, and extraordinary build quality. The Flaminia was the ultimate Lancia of its day, and the modern look given it by Pinin Farina complimented it perfectly. The Lancia Flaiminia Pininfarina Coupe was based on the Battista 'Pinin' Farina's 'Florida II' show car of 1957. Its new angular architecture of contrasting panels, with strong angles joined by short radius curves, set the coachbuilder's style for the sixties. This design was considered by Battista Farina to be his favorite of all, and he drove the Florida II or a PR coupe until his death in 1966.
This 3B Coupe, with its V6 engine equipped with the fascinating Solex triple inline barrel carburetor, also fitted to the original Porsche 911, represents the second series of the model. Sold new in Savona, Italy, it was restored in the late 1980s by the noted marque specialists KCA in Milan, Italy.
Brought to the United States in 1997, it has been in the current ownership since 2007. After much enjoyment on the road, especially at vintage rally events, a second restoration was begun in 2010 and, upon completion, made its restoration debut at the 2012 Amelia Island Concours d'elegance.

The Lancia Flaminia Pininfarina Coupe, launched in 1959, was closely based on Battista 'Pinin' Farina's 'Florida II' show car of 1957. This particular 3B Coupe is powered by a 2458cc V6 engine equipped with Solex triple inline-barrel carburetors, also fitted to the original Porsche 911, representing the second series of the model.
There were 5,236 examples of the Flaminia PF coupes produced over the production run, lasting until 1967. Just 948 of this type were built between 1962 to 1963.
This car was sold new in Savona, Italy, and was originally finished in Aregento with Cuoio leather interior. The car was restored in the late 1980s and was brought to the United States in 1987. It has been in the care of its present owner since 2005. It was given a second restoration in 2010. It is currently finished in the model-correct colors of Grigio Flemington and Nero.
