The Ferrari 250GT SWB Spyder California was designed by Pininfarina and built by Scaglietti. It has the powerful Tipo 168 Berlinetta Lusso 3-liter V12 engine, which develops 280 horsepower capable of propelling the car from zero-to-sixty mph in less than 8 seconds and reaching a top speed of 149 mph.
This car is one of 18 SWB Spyder Californias built with open headlights and was one of the last to be delivered. It was also fitted with a very rare factory hardtop from new. This car has been owned by several notable people, including its first owner, the Italian nobleman, the Marquis Medici de Vascelo, as well as Maserati grand prix driver Franco Rola and classic car author Rob de la Rive Box. It was also featured in the Charlie's Angels film Full Throttle, driven by actress Cameron Diaz.
