Overview
The 2007 Lincoln Town Car is Lincoln's full-size luxury sedan with a tradition of a smooth ride and superb comfort. The Town Car has long been Lincoln's flagship sedan, and it enjoys extremely high customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Four trim series – Signature, Signature Limited, Designer and Signature L – are available for retail customers and three additional series are available for the limousine and livery market.

As with all Lincoln vehicles, Town Car comes standard with complimentary maintenance for 12 months/12,000 miles.

The Lincoln Town Car is built in Wixom, Mich.

Design and Equipment 2007 Lincoln Town Car
The Town Car's exterior design has a formal appearance with a chrome Lincoln signature grille flanked by quad-beam halogen headlamps. High-intensity-discharge headlamps are optional on Signature Limited, Designer and Signature L models.

A stand-up Lincoln star hood ornament sits at the leading edge of the hood on all models.

At the rear of the car, the fascia, tail lamps and the chrome license plate surround present a clean, uncluttered appearance. The standard extended rear park assist feature helps with parking maneuvers.

All Town Car models are equipped with 17-inch wheels and tires. Signature versions come with a 12-spoke machined aluminum wheel, Signature Limited and Signature L have a 10-spoke machined aluminum wheel, and Designer models have a nine-spoke chrome aluminum wheel. Fleet versions use eight-spoke machined aluminum wheels.

Two extended-wheelbase models continue – the Executive L (fleet only) and Signature L. In addition to their six-inch longer wheelbase, L models offer rear-seat amenities including a folding armrest with tissue and storage bins, dual power points, and remote push-button controls for the audio system, climate control and front-passenger seat. The Signature L model includes heated rear seats as standard.

Powertrain and Chassis

2007 Lincoln Town Car
A 239-horsepower 4.6-liter V-8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission is standard. Town Car puts power to the ground through its rear wheels via a 3.27:1 rear-axle ratio. All-speed traction control is standard and helps improve traction during inclement weather.
Improved in 2003, the robust body-on-frame chassis construction is favored by both retail and commercial customers for its durability and comfortable ride.

Safety and Security

2007 Lincoln Town Car
The Lincoln Town Car was the first car in history to receive the government's highest five-star government safety ratings four years in a row for all five categories – including rollover resistance.

Town Car is equipped with Ford's Personal Safety System®, which is one of the most comprehensive driver and front-seat passenger restraint systems available. It includes dual-stage air bags and safety belts with pretensioners and energy management retractors. Town Car continues to feature BeltMinder™, which chimes to remind the driver to buckle up.
