During this time he completed his Tour of Duty as a corpsman in Danang, Vietnam earning a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and a Ph.D. in Physiology and Pharmacology from the University of California at San Diego. He moved up through the ranks of the scientific and educational worlds, establishing various techniques and procedures and institutions along the way, one called Human Longevity, Inc. To say he is accomplished is quite the understatement. While anyone this accomplished in his professional field is very likely to be very passionate about his work, his heart still thrummed for vintage machinery. Dr. Venter fed that passion by collecting vintage Harleys, Indians, BMWs and British bikes and his incredible collection now hosts motorcycles ranging from the 1910s into the 1960s.
