FERRARI DRIVER ACADEMY: FDA – MARCIELLO IN TOP THREE AFTER FIRST INTERNATIONAL SEASON
Company press release.Raffaele Marciello's race season ended today in Hockenheim in fine style as he has finished third in the F3 Euro Series and second in the more important FIA European F3 championship. The Ferrari Driver Academy youngster performed strongly throughout his first year of international competition and was a title contender all the way to this final round. Here in Germany, Marciello took a third and a second place in Race 1 and 2 respectively to keep his title hopes alive, until an eighth place in Race 3 finally ended his aspirations. Both titles actually went to his Prema Power Team team-mate, Daniel Juncadella, who took the crown after coming fourth in the final leg. With the F3 Euro Series behind him, Marciello now moves on to the famous Macau Grand Prix on 18 November at the Guia Circuit, a truly challenging event which sees competitors come together from all the F1 feeder series and the best of the European teams.
