MORE DESERVING CHILDREN TO EXPERIENCE THE THRILL OF THE FERRARI CALIFORNIA T
June 15, 2015 by Ferrari North EuropeSince 2010 Ferrari North Europe has treated hundreds of deserving children to an unforgettable day at Silverstone Circuit. Now the cornerstone of the brand's CSR programme in the UK, this year's Ferrari California T Experience will be held at the iconic venue on Friday 12th June. A group of disabled, disadvantaged and seriously ill children, together with their siblings, will share the thrill of being driven around Silverstone's Stowe circuit in a Ferrari California T. The event is being held in conjunction with two charities: Rays of Sunshine, which grants wishes to children living with serious or life-limiting illnesses, and BEN, the automotive industry's dedicated charity which provides care, financial help, emotional support and advice for those who work or have worked in the automotive industry and their dependant family. While each child takes part in an adrenaline-charged passenger ride with a professional driver at the wheel, their families will enjoy a programme of entertainment within the Stowe Complex, courtesy of event sponsors that include PlayStation and Lego. They will also have the chance to mingle with celebrity attendees. Present at this year's Ferrari California T Experience will be a very special guest, chart-topping singer and former X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos, whose appearance will add yet more excitement to what is already a thrilling day for all participants. Francesco Balli, Regional Manager for Ferrari North Europe, commented: 'It is our honour and privilege to share the exhilaration of riding in a Ferrari with more truly deserving children. We would like to express our gratitude to all the sponsors, some of which have been with us since the beginning of this incredible journey.'
