Just three cars were built for the 924 GTP Le Mans program. With only a 2.0 liter 320 HP engine they competed for a class win and achieved a remarkable sixth overall finish. This car was raced to 13th by Al Holbert and Derek Bell in their debut together as a team. They would go on to multiple Le Mans, Daytona, Sebring and IMSA Championships together.
