December 2015 represented the best-ever December U.S. sales results in Audi history, as well as the 60th consecutive month of record sales for Audi in the U.S. The previous December record was set in 2014 with sales of 19,238 vehicles. 2015 marks the sixth consecutive year of record sales for Audi in the U.S. and the first time the brand has achieved annual sales of more than 200,000 vehicles.

'The power of the Audi brand is shown by passing 200,000 in U.S. sales five years ahead of schedule,' said Scott Keogh, President, Audi of America. 'But we will not rest. We have more growth, more leading-edge technologies and exciting additions to our product line-up in sight.'

Sales of Audi SUV models remained robust through the end of the sales year. The Audi A3 family also continued to perform well, with a 20.9% sales increase for the month of December and a 61.7% increase for the year.

Audi Certified pre-owned vehicles also increased to record levels for the year. December resulted in 4,286 CPO vehicles sold, which brought the annual CPO sales for 2015 to an all-time high of 48,608 vehicles, a 3.4% increase over the previous year.
