Global Audience Sees Vinfast Launch Two Exciting New Cars At The Paris Motor Show

Paris, 2 October 2018 – Global sports star and style icon, David Beckham, this morning joined new Vietnamese car brand, VinFast, at the Paris Motor Show for the official unveiling of its first two cars. Beckham shared his enthusiasm for the new models – the premium LUX A2.0 sedan and LUX SA2.0 SUV – which VinFast will build at a new, purpose-built factory in Vietnam from September 2019.

The presentation was witnessed by international media and a large crowd of enthusiastic onlookers inside the Show halls, as well as by a global audience who tuned in to witness the unveiling live over the internet.

'Vietnam is such a beautiful country and I can see how the VinFast design team have been able to bring some of that beauty alive in the lines of these amazing new cars,' commented David Beckham.

'I've always been a car fanatic, and it's a thrill to be here in Paris to celebrate the arrival of a new carmaker on the global stage. When I met you and your colleagues backstage earlier, the passion that you all have for the cars is infectious. It's an inspirational story and I'm really excited to be part of this launch moment for VinFast.'
