2011 Callaway Corvette SC

Callaway Cars of Old Lyme, Connecticut offered several states of tune for the C17 Corvette, between 2008 and 2013. The list included the SC580, SC606, and the SC652. The numbers represented horsepower and SC was for 'supercharged.' During this time, they offered a special model called the Reeves Callaway Signature Edition (RCSE), equipped with a 606 horsepower engine and the RCSE interior group. A total of 29 examples were planned and were only available in Cyber Gray, Blade Silver, and Crystal Red. All rested on Callaway 9-spoke aluminum wheels and came with the new Carbon Fiber hood from Callaway.

The Callaway SC580 Corvette came with a Roots-style Eaton CS2000 Supercharged, a polished finish, liquid-to-air intercooler, and increased flow rate fuel injectors helping to boost power to 580 bhp and 6,500 RPM and torque to 510 lb-ft at 5,000 RPM. It had a claimed top speed of 204 mph and retained the fuel economy rating of the non-supercharged Corvettes at 15/25 mpg for the manual transmission. The automatic transmission brought horsepower down slightly to 14 city and 24 highway. The SC580 had a low 11-second ET for the quarter-mile and came with a 3 year/36,000 mile powertrain warranty. Additional items added by Callaway included body-color injector covers, electronic fuel pump controller, Callaway double-D stainless steel exhaust system, Callaway Honker High Flow Intake system, and Callaway RTM Fiberglass Hood Bulge. There were Callaway Door sill panels, embroidered floor mats, badging, and dash plaque with engraved VIN.

The Callaway SC606 added an Eaton TVS2300 Roots-type supercharger to either the base 6.2-liter LS3 engine or the Z06's 7.0-liter LS7 V8. The LS3-powered upgrade was priced at just over $21,000 and brought horsepower to 606 and torque to 553 pounds-feet.
