1941 Cadillac Series 67

For the first time in Cadillac styling, the headlights on the 1941 bodies were fully integrated into the front fenders, and a horizontal-theme grille rested between the two headlights. Below the headlights were built-in accessory fog lights. There was a one-piece hood with a rectangular panel of louvers located on each side. Most of the body styles received fender skirts (rear-wheel shields).

With the loss of the LaSalle and V-16 Cadillacs, the list of models grew to fill the void. The Series 61, which had a 126-inch wheelbase and prices that ranged from $1,350 to $1,540, were introduced as a replacement for the LaSalle price structure. The Series 60S, 62, and Series 63 also rested on a 126-inch wheelbase platform, with the Series 62 prices ranging from 1,420 to $2,000. The Series 63 was offered only as a five-passenger touring sedan with a base price of $1,700. Both the Series 63 and Series 67 were new additions to line up, with the Fisher-bodied Series 67 (replacing the 1940s Series 72) having a 139-inch wheelbase with 5- and 7-passenger enclosed body styles. Prices ranged from $2,600 for the touring sedan to $2,900 for the 7-passenger Imperial Touring Sedan. Though not the highest-priced Cadillac in 1941, the Series 67 had the longest wheelbase, beating the Series 75 by 2.5 inches. With the generous 'touring trunk', the Series 67 was also the longest Cadillac. It was offered with a division partition (Limousine) and without (Touring Sedan). The total production of 1941 Series 67 was approximately 922 units.

The Series 75 Fleetwood replaced the V16 as Cadillac's new top-of-the-line model. Its wheelbase was reduced from 141 inches to 136.5 inches, though the $3,000 to $4,405 price remained mostly unchanged.

All 1941 Cadillacs were powered by an L-head 346 cubic-inch eight-cylinder engine offering 150 horsepower and backed by a three-speed selective synchromesh manual transmission with four-wheel hydraulic brakes.

The most popular 1941 Cadillac was the Series 61 which accounted for 29,258 sales. The Series 52 was also popular with 24,734 sales.
