August 7, 2015 , Whistler, B.C. - For the fifth consecutive year, the Jeep® brand is proud to once again be the major automotive sponsor of the Crankworx Mountain Biking Festival in Whistler, B.C., from August 7-16, 2015.

Known for its picturesque rural landscape, Whistler, B.C., poses as the perfect location for Crankworx to hold its Mountain Biking Festival for the 12th year. Crankworx is the largest biking festival in North America and features some of the world's best downhill, slopestyle and enduro riders. The festival spans 10 days and will include concerts, parties and lifestyle events. Bike riders will compete in front of nearly 135,000 people on-site and about 342,465 people online.

New this year, Jeep will feature a two-tier display (20'x10') at Skiers' Plaza in the heart of Whistler Village. Fans will be able to interact with the new Jeep Renegade on the lower level, as well as go up to the second level to the Jeep Viewing Lounge to get a bird's eye view of the competitions.

The festival will include a Jeep on- and off-road course where guests with a valid driver's licence will have the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the all-new 2015 Jeep Renegade. Other Jeep vehicles at the course include the Cherokee, Grand Cherokee and Wrangler.

Jeep will also have a Kids Course setup for youngsters, where they can pilot pint-sized electric Wranglers through their very own specialized course.

Throughout the Crankworx Mountain Biking Festival, Jeep will also provide branded giveaways and sponsor the event's much-viewed leaderboard.

The Jeep on- and off-road course will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday in Lot 2 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
