Concours on Pit Lane Highlights Saturday at Porsche Rennsport Reunion VMONTEREY, Calif. Sept. 27, 2015 – One of the high points of a weekend packed full of highlights during Porsche Rennsport Reunion V at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca was Saturday afternoon's Concours on Pit Lane where thousands of Porsche race fans and enthusiasts gathered on the pit lane after the day's on-track activities concluded to take in the sights of the more than 100 Porsche race cars which lined up Le Mans style on the pit wall.

Porsche Rennsport Reunion V, held about every three years and last held in 2011 at Mazda Raceway, is the largest gathering of Porsche race cars and drivers in the world. Iconic Porsche models like the 356, 911, 917, 937 and 919 and iconic drivers like Jacky Ickx, Derek Bell, Vic Elford, Hans Stuck, and Hurley Haywood who have made Porsche racing history have come together for this celebration on the Monterey Peninsula.

While most were more than content to take in the amazing view, a small group of legendary Porsche drivers (Ickx and Haywood), key Porsche executives and others constituted a judging committee that presented awards in 17 different categories. The concours' top honor, Best in Show, went to a 1969 Porsche 908 LH (Serial No. 908 025) owned by the Revs Institute for Automotive Research, Inc., of Naples, Fla., the premier destination to study and explore one of the largest archives of automotive history ever preserved for scholars and connoisseurs.
