Two-time FIA World Champion Petter Solberg, is set to thrill the crowds in the Live Action Arena at next year's Autosport International, as the World Rally and Rallycross legend confirms his attendance at Europe's premier pre-season motorsport show, for the second year running.

After performing a series of nail-biting stunts at 2015's event, Solberg is set to return even bigger and better than last year to the UK's largest indoor racetrack to thrill crowds inside the 5,000-seater arena. Often just centimetres from the barriers, Petter will give fans the chance to witness a masterclass in precision car control and tyre-smoking drifts.

Petter Solberg said: 'I'm really looking forward to returning to Autosport International and the Live Action Arena next year as there is always such a fantastic atmosphere. It's a great opportunity to meet fans of World Rallycross and Rallying and see first-hand the enthusiasm they have for this action-packed series.'

The Norwegian, who is currently leading the FIA World RX Championship in his DS 3 supercar, is the first person to win two FIA world titles (World Rally Championship, 2003 and World Rallycross, 2014).

Petter holds a commanding 35-point lead in this year's FIA World Rallycross Championship, after winning three rounds and taking seven podiums out of ten events with his PSRX team.
