ISUZU BUILDS A REPUTATION WITH PAUL GRAY BUILDING

When he was looking for a replacement new truck for his long established business, self-employed builder Paul Gray followed his friend's advice and took his first look at the Isuzu N35.150 Grafter chassis for his one-man building operation based in Skipton.

'A friend of mine has an Isuzu truck and he told me that he found it to be 'bullet-proof' and perfectly ideal for my type of business,' said Paul Gray from Paul Gray Building. 'And now that I have subsequently bought my first ever Isuzu, I have nothing but praise for what it can do. Not only is it extremely sturdy and robust for such a small truck, most importantly it feels like it's built to last and should give me years of productive service in my business.'

Such has been Paul's enthusiasm and praise for the Isuzu 3.5t Grafter that he recently recommended the product to one of his close friends. Not long afterwards this friend confirmed that he had gone ahead and purchased an Isuzu for his coal merchants delivery business, based purely on Paul's recommendation.

As Paul says; 'Not only has one of my friends bought an Isuzu as a result of my enthusiasm for the product, but the other day I heard that yet another one of my friends, who has a builders merchants business, is also looking at Isuzu since talking to me about new trucks!'

Over the past 20 years of being in business, Paul had always been very loyal to his previous vehicle marque, but unfortunately that particular product is no longer available for the UK market. This forced Paul's hand into looking around at alternative truck makes and it wasn't long before he settled for the Isuzu Grafter as his first choice. His eventual specification was an Isuzu N35.150 twin rear wheel Grafter, fitted with a TGS aluminium tipper body and was supplied to him by his local Isuzu Truck dealer in Leeds, Steadplan Ltd.

'I probably cover about 14,000 miles a year running my building business in the Wharfedale area of West Yorkshire and I can already predict that the Isuzu will last me an awful long time. Apart from it being what I call a proper sturdy 3.5t truck chassis, it is also far more spacious than my previous vehicle, and definitely far more luxurious,' commented Paul Gray.

The popularity of the Isuzu Grafter 3.5t rigid truck in the building trade was further recognised recently when it won the 2016 'Best Builder's Truck' award from leading UK business van magazine 'Trade Van Driver' for the fifth consecutive time, which is unprecedented in the history of this publication's awards programme
