NISMO FESTIVAL DATE CONFIRMED FOR 2016 AT FUJI SPEEDWAY IN JAPANYOKOHAMA, Japan – The annual NISMO Festival in Japan has been confirmed for 2016 for Fuji Speedway on December 11.

This year will be the 19th running of NISMO Festival that brings together the stars and cars from Nissan's global motorsport activities – both past and present.

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Fuji Speedway, historic Nissan race cars that have a deep connection with the circuit will not only be on display but are also planned to run on the course.

Along with this, currently active Nissan race car drivers from Japan and abroad, team principals and legendary former drivers will converge on Fuji to take part in fan events and autograph sessions.

'The NISMO Festival is just an incredible event,' said NISMO's Blancpain GT Series ace Alex Buncombe. 'Fans not only get the chance to see these amazing cars up close but see them run on track as well. From a driver's perspective, we get the chance to sample some amazing pieces of Nissan motorsport history on a brilliant circuit. Last year we had drivers from Japan, the U.S., Europe, Australia all coming together to put on a great show for the fans.'

NISMO technical partner MOTUL will join forces with Nissan at the festival this year as an event sponsor.
