Streamliners At The Amelia Island Concours

Given its own pedestal on the show field was the 1999 Spirit of Rett LSR Streamliner, which is the fastest normally aspirated car in history.Records include: the fastest gasoline powered car in history, the fastest one way speed of 422.645 mph, fastest single engine unblown car in history on gas or fuel, first unblown single-engine car in history over 400 mph, the first and only car in history to set two 300 mph+ records in one day. It also set a 414.316 mph FIA speed record which eclipsed a 45 year old record held by the Summers Brothers' Goldenrod.
