Race two, win number two: Benjamin Leuchter and Andreas Gülden earned a second victory in the TCR class for the Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR at round two of the VLN Endurance Championship Nürburgring last week. Having won the opening VLN race in March, the German duo from Cologne-based Volkswagen customer team Mathilda Racing racked up win number two with the 350-hp Golf GTI at the DMV 4-Hour Race on the Nordschleife. At the end of 26 laps of racing, they crossed the finish line over a lap clear of runners-up Jürgen Nett/Joachim Nett/Bradley Philpot (D, D, GB, Peugeot). Leuchter and Gülden again left many more powerful cars in their wake to finish a strong 39th overall out of 136 classified cars.
