Best European Classic Cars Sent Home For Free

Rare and mint-condition European classic cars will be auctioned off this weekend, with bidding from all over Europe and the UK. Lloyd's Auctioneers and Valuers is offering free delivery to selected European ports including customs and VAT charges, so all that is left for the new owner to do is enjoy their new classic! This all combined with the value of Aussie prices, bargain hunters are set to be out in force. The auction features a stunning array of European classics, many of which were Australia-delivered new. Classics on offer include a Rothmans-livery MG Metro 6R4 from the fire-breathing Group B rally era, a matching-numbers 1957 Porsche 356A which has only had two owners and was delivered new to Max Hoffman's dealership in New York and a 1959 Porsche 356A Convertible D model which also came to Hoffman's when new and is one of the rarest 356s with only around 1300 made in a one-year production run. European classics on two wheels are also on offer with a rare 1930 Norton CS1 and a 1973 Triumph Hurricane X75 while back on four wheels a gorgeous 1953 Jaguar XK120 which can only be described as immaculate, a pair of Porsche 911 '930' Turbos, a 1951 Land Rover Series I 80-inch SWB, a pair of early Jaguar E-Types in coupe and roadster format and an amazing Timo Makinen Mark I Ford Escort recreation, are all going under the hammer. Also on offer, 1980 Ferrari 308 GTB, 1964 Auto Union 1000Sp convertible, 1973 Rolls Royce Corniche, 1981 Mercedes-Benz 500 SL are among other rare and appreciating European classic cars and motorcycles. Many of the cars and motorcycles on offer were Australian-delivered when new and as such are right-hand drive models, however several classics are left-hand drive but all have enjoyed the advantage of living in Australia's dry climate. Australian classics enjoy the temperate climate of the region and are generally much better preserved and have much less rust that their European counterparts making it better for those wanting classics in any condition ranging from concours-winning to restoration candidate thus providing a solid base for any aspiration the new caretaker may have for their new classic.
