SsangYong Dealers Across The UK Help 'Drive For Her Life'SsangYong dealers across the UK are joining forces to support 'Drive for her Life', a fund raising campaign to help raise £100,000 towards new specialist cancer treatment trials to try and extend the life expectancy of Jadi Best.

Jadi - the 30-year-old daughter of long-time SsangYong manager, Adi Ryan, was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 23 and having been through treatment and chemotherapy she was placed in remission. Early in 2016 she received the devastating news that the cancer had returned and was evident in her liver, lungs, bones and brain.

Now the options available through the NHS have been exhausted, and a fund raising road trip is planned to raise awareness and desperately needed money. The plan is to visit every SsangYong dealer on the UK mainland with a Musso pick-up towing a publicity trailer. Every participating dealership visited will contribute a monetary sum, with other fundraising taking place along the route.

Nick Laird, managing director of SsangYong Motor UK, said: 'This is a desperate battle. Jadi, her husband Charlie and the rest of her family have fought tooth and nail over the past few years, and on advice from her Oncologists, have set up a go-fund-me-page to try and raise £100,000 so she can apply for specialist new cancer treatment trials, and hopefully extend her life expectancy. In this way she can spend more valuable time with her husband, family and friends.'

The tour will start on Monday 8th October from Lowdham Motors, the SsangYong dealership in Nottingham. It will visit every SsangYong dealership across England, Scotland and Wales, before returning to Lowdhams, and is expected to take nine days.
