•PEUGEOT climbs five places in the Driver Power manufacturer rankings
•Driver Power is the UK's number one car customer satisfaction survey, giving a complete picture of car ownership
PEUGEOT is matching its rise up the UK sales charts with an equally impressive surge in the Driver Power customer satisfaction survey, climbing up five places in this year's overall manufacturer rankings.
The rise, from 17th to 12th, follows the success of our multi-award winning SUV range including the 3008 SUV and 5008 SUV, which have proven popular with owners, as well as PEUGEOT's commitment to producing vehicles with stylish design, engineering excellence and pure driving pleasure.
Driver Power is the UK's number one car customer satisfaction survey, conducted by one of the UK's leading automotive consumer titles, Auto Express. New car owners rank their vehicles across nine categories, covering everything from how well their vehicle drives and handles, its exterior and interior design, engine and gearbox refinement, and a comprehensive analysis of build quality and reliability. The survey gives potential buyers a complete picture of vehicle ownership.
PEUGEOT vehicles scored highly for their interior design and build quality. The brand was also rated by thousands of owners for its comfortable seats, low running costs, and the innovative i-Cockpit® which comprises the compact steering wheel, head-up instrument panel and large multifunction colour touchscreen.
Steve Fowler, Editor-in-Chief of Auto Express, said: 'PEUGEOT's placing in the top half of the Driver Power manufacturers' survey is a strong result, from a brand owners are clearly pleased with. The thousands of motorists who responded to Driver Power 2019 are clearly impressed with their PEUGEOT's interiors, saying they are both stylishly designed, and built to a high standard.
'Other highlights for the brand include reportedly low running costs, big boots, comfortable front seats, and well-regarded infotainment systems. Owners also like the way their PEUGEOTs ride, saying they're smooth cars to drive.'
David Peel, Managing Director of PEUGEOT UK, said: 'We're delighted to be moving up the Driver Power rankings. It shows our hard work is paying off. With exciting upcoming new models such as the all-new PEUGEOT 208, and the all-electric e-208, as well as the all-new 508 SW estate, we expect to continue our ascent next year.'
'We still have some way to go before reaching the top of the rankings, but this year's results show we are heading in the right direction.'
