They will be on a grid of more than 30 drivers representing Clio Cup championships from across Europe.

Just as in France, once their racing in Germany is done the teams will load the cars away and head back home – a drive of around 600 miles – in time to prepare for their next UK Clio Cup rounds the following weekend (Sat 3/Sun 4 August) at Snetterton in Norfolk.

The on-track action at Hockenheim this weekend begins with a free practice session late on Friday (18:05-18:35). Timed qualifying (10:50-11:20) and the first of the two 25-minute +1 lap races (18:00) follow on Saturday. Race two is on Sunday (09:30).
