BLENHEIM, Ontario (3 April 2020) – Due to current circumstances surrounding the global COVID-19 virus pandemic, RM Sotheby's has postponed its live auction of The Elkhart Collection to 23–24 October 2020. The private collection sale was originally scheduled to take place on 1–2 May at the collection site in Elkhart, Indiana. The sale will remain a live auction event, held at the collection location.
RM Sotheby's has already received significant collector interest in the Elkhart Collection and the team looks forward to seeing clients at the auction on the new dates. In the meantime, RM Sotheby's team of car specialists and dedicated client services associates are available to address inquiries on the hundreds of lots on offer.
The complete digital catalogue for The Elkhart Collection, comprising all lots, will be released in the coming weeks. An updated list of cars offered from the Collection is currently available for viewing at rmsothebys.com.
While live auctions are on hold, RM Sotheby's is equipped to continue to assist clients outside of the auction room, offering a range of additional services including online only auctions via RM Online Only, a proven platform which provides an effective means of conducting business both during and outside this challenging period.
