Long-time Track Renter Elevates Program for Members During Race Weekend
MONTEREY, Calif., July 16, 2020 – A new partnership agreement has been announced for the 2020 IMSA weekend for WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Hooked on Driving, a long-time and frequent renter of the track, will create a special hospitality area for their members who will be attending the Hyundai Monterey Sports Car Championship October 30 – November 1, 2020. The partnership agreement is another example of driving enthusiasts coming together to celebrate the passion for speed, especially during this very dynamic and challenging year. Hooked on Driving will be promoting the IMSA race on their digital platforms, and will be taking space on The Island in the center of the lakebed area near the Hagerty marketplace as a corral area for their members.

Hooked on Driving, a non-competitive community, on average rents WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca 12 times per year, with an average attendance of 100 cars. Laguna Seca Recreation Area is currently open every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for hiking, biking and day use, and the campgrounds have also recently reopened. The Official Raceway Store has reopened as of July 9 with new hours.
