Lucky Winner Drives Off In A New SsangYong Tivoli

A lucky prize winner, Rakesh Kumar Aggarwal, a pharmacist from the West Midlands, has picked up the keys to a brand-new Tivoli today at SsangYong's franchised dealer, Unity Motor Group in Coventry.

SsangYong Motors, based in Seoul, South Korea held a competition during the European launch of the new face-lifted Tivoli earlier this year. Applicants had to express an interest in the brands compact-SUV by submitting an entry form explaining why they should win the vehicle by 6th May. Rakesh was one of over 20,000 entrants and ultimately the winner being drawn at random.

Rakesh, said: 'I first saw a Ssangyong MPV on my neighbour's driveway. It caught my eye and looked like the ideal car for me! It seemed a good, solid vehicle, and stylish too. It was the perfect size for running around town, good for work and would fit my family comfortably. I was already looking to upgrade my current car before lockdown started so I requested further information via the SsangYong website which then gave me the option to enter the competition. I'm thrilled to have won. I didn't expect to win something like this, I sent off the application and thought nothing more of it, so to get a phone call to tell me that I'd won was really fantastic!'

Unity Coventry dealer principal, Jon Mathers, said: 'We're really pleased for Rakesh and we wish him years of happy motoring in his new Tivoli. It's a terrific car, and it's been a pleasure to hand the vehicle over to him today at Unity.'
