Extreme Trio Of McLaren Supercars Set To Star At UK Salon Privé Show•McLaren Elva M1A Theme by MSO headlines McLaren display at Salon Privé

•New 765LT and 620R place the emphasis on track excellence

•Salon Privé held at Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire, UK on September 23-26

A stunning display of McLaren Automotive cars is set to star at the annual Salon Privé occasion at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, UK, on September 23-26 with three spectacular cars on display to visitors, showcasing the extreme end of the supercar manufacturer's broad product range.

The biggest highlight of the display will be the new McLaren Elva, resplendent in the Elva M1A Theme by MSO that celebrates the brand's rich heritage while looking to the future. The beautifully-sculpted form echoes the original McLaren-Elva M1A sports racing car but in ultra-light carbon fibre. Completing the retro look is a Magnesium Silver racing stripe that sweeps along the sills, runs around the front splitter and rushes up over the bonnet, accompanied by an Accent Red pinstripe and Bruce McLaren's number 4 racing roundel. Inside, the seats and steering wheel detail are finished in Malibu Red Nubuck, with matching stitching and Tonal micro-piping.

Despite this nod to history, the McLaren Elva is a cutting-edge hypercar; its 815PS twin turbo V8 engine powers the lightest McLaren Automotive car yet. With no roof or windows, a revolutionary Active Air Management System (AAMS) creates a virtual windscreen, resulting in an extreme two-seater that heightens every sensory input for unparalleled driving pleasure on road or track.

Rivalling the Elva for attention in its striking launch Nardo Orange colour, the 765LT is the latest chapter in the McLaren Longtail story that began with the iconic F1 in the 1990s. While its 765PS and 600Nm of torque will not be on display at Blenheim Palace, the finely-crafted aerodynamic body with many carbon fibre panels will be a stunning sight for visitors.

The 765LT is the very embodiment of a McLaren Longtail; it is the lightest Super Series McLaren, is more powerful and aerodynamic than the 720S and its dynamic performance is focused towards the racetrack. But most importantly of all, it is designed for pure driver engagement.

Completing the trio is the 620R, a road legal realisation of the hugely-successful 570S GT4 race car. Like its race and championship winning inspiration, the 620R is capable of astonishing lap times – with the ability to run Pirelli slick tyres without further adjustments - and inspires confidence in drivers of all abilities. Unlike the 570S GT4, the 620R can also be driven to and from the track.

The car on display at Salon Privé is finished in Mantis Green and features the recently-announced MSO R Pack that includes the dramatic and fully-functional Roof Scoop as well as Visual Carbon Fibre design upgrades and a Titanium SuperSports Exhaust.

Established in 2006 and conceived to recreate the exclusivity, elegance and ambience of early concours, Salon Privé has been held at historic Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, UK since the middle of the last decade. The palace's beautiful surroundings in the heart of the English countryside is a fitting location for the annual gathering of classic and modern motoring icons. The event is also the social event of the autumn, with fine-dining, champagne and guests encouraged to dress for the occasion.
