Ferrari and RM Sotheby's Online Only Auction of 2021 Ferrari Roma Nearing Closure with Strong BidsBLENHEIM, Ontario (28 October 2020) – Hosted on RM Sotheby's proprietary Online Only platform on behalf of Ferrari, the unique, single-lot auction of the all-new 2021 Ferrari Roma has seen strong bidding activity on rmsothebys.com since the auction opened on 22 October. Set to close for bidding at 1:00 pm EDT on 29 October, the charitable auction, which is being supported by Maroon 5 frontman and Ferrari collector Adam Levine and his wife, supermodel, and philanthropist Behati Prinsloo, will see proceeds benefiting Save the Children and its efforts to provide education programs across the United States.

The new Roma was designed to invoke La Nuova Dolce Vita, recalling elegant Ferraris of yesteryear such as the 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso. With output rated at 612 bhp, the Roma provides both breathtaking performance and superb comfort. Utilizing Ferrari's acclaimed twin-turbocharged 3.9-litre V-8 engine and the SF90 Stradale's eight-speed dual clutch transmission, the Roma can sprint to 62 mph from a standstill in just 3.4 seconds, leading to a top speed of 199 mph. Despite its supercar-caliber performance, the Roma is tractable enough to be used on a daily basis.

One of the earliest production Ferrari Roma models to be delivered to North America, the U.S.-specification car currently on offer in the Online Only auction boasts numerous external and internal options and comes finished in Bianco Italia over a Bordeaux leather interior.

The Ferrari Roma is offered without reserve and selling to the highest bidder. Interested bidders can find more information on the Roma and the auction registration process at rmsothebys.com. Please note that this auction is only open to North American bidders or clients who can demonstrate North American residence.
