'We have a responsibility to ensure our innovations continue to enrich people's lives and have outlined clear targets to maintain this mission. By 2022 we plan to have a 40% reduction in CO2 emission from all new cars and expect 50% of our line-up to be electrified by early 2024.' The Arbor Day Foundation is the largest non-profit membership organisation dedicated to planting trees. With over one million members worldwide, and with the help of partners, the foundation has planted more than 400 million trees globally over the past 50 years. 'Nature-based climate solutions not only mitigate the environmental impact of daily business operations but also protect the ecosystems and economies that people and wildlife alike rely upon. Our partnership with Nissan allows us to further this work around the world,' said Dan Lambe, President of the Arbor Day Foundation. EV drivers have continued to make a positive impact on the environment through their decision to adopt a more sustainable mobility solution. To celebrate their contributions, Nissan is calling on all LEAF drivers to submit their clean air kilometres, to showcase the positive impact they have had made for planet. To submit your clean air kilometres and have a Nissan tree planted in your name share a picture of your LEAF mileage with #LEAF10YearsChallenge.
