SsangYong Motors UK signs double deal with Station Garage

SsangYong Motors UK is delighted to welcome Station Garage to its ever-increasing dealer portfolio, representing the brand in both Aberdeen and Torphins, Scotland.

Station Garage was founded in 1979 by the late Bob Shepherd, and Adrian McGregor, when they opened their first showroom in the centre of Torphins. The company specialised in fast Fords and soon gained an exceptional reputation for flexibility and excellent customer service, which in turn fuelled customers to travel from all over the country to service their automotive needs.

Adrian McGregor, director of Station Garage, commented; 'We are delighted to join the SsangYong family. We believe that there are many synergies between our businesses, and we love the excellent product they have on offer both now, and the ones coming in the near future. As the motor trade evolves we are proud to move with the technology and continue to develop our facilities as we look forward to many more years in business.' Due to its excellent service and growing reputation, Station Garage increased in popularity and demand for servicing work and in 1986 the founders built the garage that we know today. This allowed expansion into the 4x4 market with the introduction of the Daihatsu franchise for the Northeast of Scotland. In 2000 Station Garage added the Mitsubishi franchise to its growing business and opened the dealership in Aberdeen. Fast forward to 2021 it carries on its 4x4 tradition and evolves again to include the SsangYong franchise.
