Team USA, Team Toyota's Chloe Kim Wins Second Olympic Gold Medal at Olympic Winter GamesAt 21 years old, Team Toyota's Chloe Kim won her second Olympic gold medal, taking first place in the women's snowboarding halfpipe event at the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 on Thursday, February 10, 2022. Kim is the first woman to win back-to-back Olympic golds in snowboard halfpipe.

'I was more prepared this time,' said Kim to TeamUSA.org. 'Luckily, it was a learning experience the last time. … I mean we're at the Olympics, a lot of nerves here. And the fact that everyone was able to overcome that and land the runs of their lives is just so impressive. I'm so proud of everyone, and I'm honestly so honored to be a part of women's halfpipe snowboarding.'

Kim put down a score of 94.00 during her first of three runs. That first run, which featured a method air, frontside 1080 tail grab, cab 900, switch backside 540 and cab 1080, ultimately held on and was all she needed to reclaim her Olympic halfpipe crown.
