Mecum Houston Collector Car Auction Returns to NRG Center March 31-April 2

Nearly 180 Vehicles from The Triple J Ranch Auto Collection Offered at No Reserve
WALWORTH, Wis. – An eclectic selection of nearly 180 American classics, muscle cars, Corvettes, trucks, customs, motorcycles and replica movie cars from The Triple J Ranch Auto Collection at No Reserve will headline the estimated 1,000 vehicles expected to cross the auction block at Mecum Houston 2022 at Houston's NRG Center this March 31-April 2.
Headlining the auction are a pair of 1969 Pontiacs from the Triple J collection. The first is a 1969 Pontiac Trans Am (Lot S48) with a 400 CI V-8 engine with Ram Air and automatic transmission, and the other is a 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge (Lot S56) with a matching 400 CI Ram Air V-8 engine and a 4-speed manual transmission. A trio of Ford Mustangs will also headline the Houston lineup, including a meticulously restored 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback (Lot S122) with a 427/780 HP crate engine and Tremec 5-speed manual transmission, a 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 Fastback (Lot S58) with a 302/290 HP V-8 engine and 4-speed manual transmission from the Triple J collection, and a 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Fastback (Lot F103) with a 351 CI engine and 4-speed manual transmission.
The Triple J Collection encompasses a wide array of other collector favorites and unique, off-the-wall autos as well. Among the group are a 1988 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS (Lot F22.1) that has just 13,810 miles and a 5.0L V-8 engine, a 4-speed 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe (Lot S54) with a 427/435 HP engine, a 2006 Ford Mustang Saleen S281 Convertible (Lot S20) that is No. 6 of 155 produced, and a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 (Lot S36) that is one of 214 in black and shows just 649 miles, to name just a few.
Among the replica movie cars from the assemblage are a 2015 golf cart (Lot F3.1) built to replicate the Flintmobile from the television series 'The Flintstones,' a 1967 Ford Econoline Mystery Machine Replica Van (Lot F5) finished in green and blue Mystery Machine livery and a 1959 Cadillac Ghostbusters ECTO 1 Replica (Lot F6.1) that comes complete with proton packs, traps and particle throwers in the convenient cargo compartment. Prewar classics from the Triple J Collection include a 1916 Buick D-55 Touring (Lot T9), a 1924 Ford Model T Coupe (Lot T4.1) and a 1928 Ford Model A Roadster (Lot T6), among others.
Bidder registration for Mecum Houston 2022 is available in advance online at Mecum.com and on-site at the auction for $200, and it includes admission for two to all three auction days. For those unable to attend in person, enhanced remote bidding options are also available, with options for both online and telephone bidding.
Doors open daily at 8 a.m. with the vehicle auction beginning at 10 a.m. General admission tickets are available in advance online for $20 per person, per day, and for $30 at the door and online after March 30; children 12 and younger receive complimentary admission. Presiding health and safety protocols will remain in place for all those in attendance.
