LEVC (London Electric Vehicle Company) today announces further growth in its European commercial vehicle network, with the launch of its first dealership in Latvia.

Mūsa Motors, based in central Riga, will offer customers complete sales and aftersales services of the LEVC TX electric taxi and VN5 van.

Founded nearly 30 years ago, Mūsa Motors Riga is part of the Mūsa Motors Group, representing brands including Volvo, Renault, Dacia, Opel, VW and Skoda. With the Latvian government set to introduce substantial EV subsidies this year, LEVC's state-of-the-art electric vehicles will play a key role in supporting the country's transition to an electric future.

Joerg Hofmann, CEO of LEVC, said: 'LEVC continues to build momentum as a leading e-mobility brand across Europe and we're pleased to welcome Mūsa Motors to the network, our first dealer in Latvia. We welcome the Latvian government's decision to introduce EV subsidies this year, which will drive EV sales and underpin the move towards electrification in Latvia.'

Normunds Piebalgs, Managing Director of Mūsa Motors Grupa, said: 'The Latvian electric vehicle segment is steadily growing and this is perfect time to introduce a new EV brand to our customers. We are positive that LEVC will gain consumer trust in our market and build a loyal customer base in the near future.'

LEVC's electric vehicles will bring all the benefits of electric drive to the Latvian market, with zero range anxiety, putting urban passenger transportation on a sustainable path. The industry leading TX taxi offers zero-emission driving for 103km and a flexible range of over 512km utilising LEVC's range-extender technology. This means LEVC can support Mūsa Motors Riga to deliver customers substantial savings in operating costs, while reducing harmful emissions. As the world's first taxi that can drive purely on electric power, TX models are designed to provide a comfortable environment for up to six passengers while improving air quality.

VN5, LEVC's new electric van, features the same first-in-sector construction techniques and range-extending powertrain as the TX, was launched to the European market in May 2021. Offering LEVC's pioneering eCity and Advanced Drive Battery, VN5 boasts a pure EV range of over 102 km and a total flexible range of over 513 km. Able to carry a gross payload of 830kg with a 5.5m3 capacity, the VN5 provides a highly proficient platform for all commercial requirements.
