Championship Battle Intensifies for Hyundai at VIRginia International Raceway

 The next stop of the 2022 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge campaign is VIRginia International Raceway in Alton, Va., host of the penultimate round of the season. Hyundai leads the closely contested Drivers', Teams', and Manufacturers' points races by double-digit margins. With a track history of six podiums, including a win and podium sweep in 2020, Hyundai is looking to maximize its points takeaway this weekend. Bryan Herta Autosport/Hyundai drivers currently hold four of the top five spots in the championship standings.  

    • VIRginia International Raceway: 3.27-mile, 18-turn purpose-built road course
    • Championship Standings: First place for No. 1 Elantra N TCR drivers Michael Lewis and Taylor Hagler
