Bonhams returns to Greenwich for its annual collector car auction in the Connecticut town with a fully No Reserve sale, which will again by staged at W.R Berkley Corporation's waterfront global headquarters on Sunday, June 4.
The longest-established collector car sale in the Northeast will offer a curated selection of motorcars representing luxury marques from Aston Martin to Rolls-Royce, presenting nearly a century of automotive innovation, all offered at No Reserve. This year's line-up has a Euro-American flavour, with highlights including:
1964 Citroën DS19 Décapotable, coachwork by Chapron, estimate $180,000-220,000. A rare cabriolet version of the revolutionary DS, coachbuilt by the great Parisian firm Henri Chapron, offered from the renowned Gotz collection in Germany. This example features unique chrome air intakes, striking Citroën yellow paintwork over black leather and a black canvas 'sonnedecke' convertible top and luxurious semi-automatic transmission.
1955 Alfa Romeo 1900C SS, coachwork by Touring, estimate $160,000-180,000. The competition-worthy Super Sprint is one of the most collectible versions of the esteemed classic Carrozzeria Touring-designed coupé.
1969 AC 428 Coupe, estimate $100,000-150,000. One of 51 coupés by AC – of which circa 40 remain -which married American V8 power with elegant Italian coachwork by Carrozzeria Frua, on its own Cobra-derived chassis.
1967 Ghia 450SS Convertible, estimate $80,000-140,000. The ultra-rare 450SS was produced when Ghia was still an independent coachbuilder, featuring typical avant-garde styling from the famed Italian design house.
1960 Facel Vega HK500, estimate $80,000-120,000. Another Euro-American Grande Routiere, the Vega is one of 500 hand-built by the short-lived French firm, powered by Chrysler's 5.9-liter 'hemi' V8.
The sale will also offer a selection of motorcycles, including a 1949 Indian Scout, and classic automobilia.

The Bonhams Greenwich Auction will be held as a live auction on Sunday June 4 from 12 Noon. Pre-sale viewing will take place at the W.R. Berkley Corporation Global Headquarters on Steamboat Road on Saturday June 3 and the morning of June 4.
