Battista will feature as a Spotlight Reward Vehicle (between 14-21 December) where players can purchase the vehicle with in-game credits, and race in the 'Contemporary Tour' events within Career mode. The four events (of Contemporary Tour) start with Italian Ingenuity, with Battista the hero vehicle, allowing virtual drivers to race hot laps using the car for their time to be featured on the top of a global leaderboard. Players will have until 31st January to complete this tour.

It will also feature in two of Forza Motorsport's multiplayer modes: 'Multiplayer' and 'Rivals'. After this 'Spotlight' period, the car will still remain available to Motorsport enthusiasts.

As the world's first pure-electric hyper GT, the Battista has redefined the benchmarks of performance and luxury in the automotive industry. Its status as the most powerful road legal car ever designed and built in Italy, along with its zero-emission four-motor powertrain, ensure Battista delivers an unparalleled combination of power, speed and dynamic capability.

Fans of Automobili Pininfarina will be able to personalise their Battista in over 1,000 different ways, choosing from one of three factory colours, or one of the many virtually-imagined shades, as well as over 300 alloy wheel choices.

Battista accelerates faster than a Formula One, with 0-60mph achieved in 1.79s, 0-100km/h completed in 1.86s, 0-120mph executed in 4.49s and 0-200 km/h covered in just 4.75 seconds.

Aspiring racers worldwide can now experience its exhilarating power, sleek design, and cutting-edge technology on legendary race circuits across the globe, including Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium), Laguna Seca (USA), Nürburgring (Germany) and Suzuka (Japan).

The partnership with Forza Motorsport represents a significant milestone for Automobili Pininfarina, as it expands the reach of the Battista beyond physical roads and into the digital world.

Forza Motorsport, known for its hyper-realistic simulation racing and photorealistic detail, provides an authentic platform for racing-fanatics to explore the extraordinary capabilities of Battista in a virtual environment.

The Automobili Pininfarina Battista will be available to download for free on Forza Motorsport (on Xbox Series X|S and PC versions) from 14 December.

Paolo Dellachà, CEO at Automobili Pininfarina, said: 'Bringing Battista to the Forza Motorsport series puts our pure-electric hyper GT in front of a fresh audience. This collaboration aligns seamlessly with our commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation, and introducing a new, younger generation of automotive enthusiasts to Battista as they experience the most powerful Italian road car ever made in this uniquely immersive virtual environment.'

Virtual performance

Battista is powered by a state-of-the-art powertrain that delivers record-breaking performance. The world's first pure-electric hyper GT utilises a high-capacity 120 kWh lithium-ion battery contained within a strong but lightweight carbon fibre housing.

Four independent high-performance electric motors – one driving each wheel – combine with Full Torque Vectoring, Electronic Stability Control and a software differential that allows drivers to tailor the power delivery and handling responses like never before, while its T-shaped liquid-cooled battery pack is mounted centrally behind the seats to ensure a low centre of gravity.
