400+ Consignments Confirmed for the 2024 Spring Carlisle Collector Car Auction

by Carlisle Collector Car Auction | March 21, 2024
Past, Present, and Future Classics – PLUS a 1953 Corvette to Cross the Block April 18-19
The auction at the neighboring Carlisle Expo Center is April 18-19 and it's anticipated the 400+ available consignment slots will sell out. That means every bidder in attendance is focused on the cream of the crop as classics and collector cars go. Consignments range from '20s era production to modern muscle and each have something special to offer. In fact, this year's auction offers numerous frame-off and rotisserie restorations, meaning the most meticulous care has been given to these rides before even coming to Carlisle.
Speaking of meticulous, the star car of this year's auction is a 1953 Corvette: serial #098. With so few ever made (300) and even fewer still in existence, the opportunity to own one of the first 100 Corvettes ever produced some 71 years ago is worth the trip to Carlisle in and of itself. In fact, there are so many great lots crossing the block that it's hard to call out every single one. In addition to the Corvette, there are several consignments that are appointment viewing, or better yet, ones that command the attention of the bidder gallery.
With a gallery like this, there's little doubt that this auction will kick-start 2024 in style for Carlisle Auctions. The auction starts at 12 PM daily, with preview hours starting at 12 PM on April 17 and from 8 AM until 12 PM on each auction day. There's also the All-Truck Hour, a specialty hour on April 18 at 4 PM that offers trucks, Jeeps, and SUVs. This gives buyers and sellers alike a full hour of trucks of all shapes and sizes.
The Spring 2024 Collector Car Auction is the most convenient way for someone to pick up their first or next classic and do so at an affordable price point. There will be white-glove, best-of-show vehicles for sure, but there will also be show-worthy gems that can be driven and enjoyed with total confidence.

CARLISLE, PA – Spring is in the air and that means it is outdoor car show season in America's Automotive Hometown, Carlisle, Pennsylvania. As such, Spring Carlisle driven by Hemmings, much like daffodils and tulips, pops up this time of year. The annual spring show draws nearly 100,000 guests to central Pennsylvania and the event as a whole runs April 17-21 at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds. But while an international audience is buying, selling and trading all things automotive, a few thousand more guests are immersed in automotive history via the two-day collector car auction powered by Carlisle Auctions.
Advanced/online bidding starts April 15 and every registered bidder is eligible to not only bring a guest to the auction but to attend Spring Carlisle as well. Complete details on the auction are available at CarlisleAuctions.com. Consignments are being added daily to the Carlisle Auctions web page. Spectator admission is $13 at the door, cheaper if purchased online, and gains you admission to both Spring Carlisle and the Spring auction. For auction details, call 717-960-6400.
