Isuzu covers Old Firm excitement ahead of Scottish Cup final• The Scottish Gas Men's Scottish Cup final sees longstanding rivals Celtic and Rangers meet at Hampden Park on May 25th.

•It has been 22 years since the last Old Firm Scottish Cup final, which was also the last time Celtic lost in the final of the competition.

•Isuzu UK continues to sponsor the most historic competition in Scotland for a second year.

On May 25th, Hampden Park is set to host the first Old Firm Scottish Gas Men's Scottish Cup since 2002, as Celtic and Rangers look to compete for domestic glory. The match is perfectly poised to be a spectacle.

The last time the teams played in the final, Rangers emerged as 3-2 victors. Remarkably, since losing against their rivals, Celtic subsequently won every final that they reached since. The stakes for this year's final are higher than ever, with both teams looking to write their names down in the history books.

First contested in 1873, the Scottish Cup has seen both finalists enjoy illustrious success. Respectively, Celtic and Rangers hold first and second for the total number of wins in the competition, with the former having won 41 Scottish Cups and Rangers winning 34.

The semi-final saw Rangers defeat Hearts 2-0 to secure their place in the Old Firm derby final despite a recent three-game winless run. However, it was even less simple for Celtic who progressed to the final after defeating Aberdeen 6-5 on penalties following a 3-3 draw.

Head of Marketing at Isuzu UK, George Wallis, Stated, 'Isuzu UK's partnership with the Scottish FA demonstrates our shared values of being Driven To Do. Both teams will leave nothing on the pitch in their bid to win the Scottish Cup and deny their rivals. Just like the Isuzu D-Max, being uncompromising, authentic, and rugged are the key qualities needed to be successful in this historic competition.'

Isuzu UK is proud to sponsor the Scottish Gas Men's Scottish Cup, entering its second year in partnership with the historic competition. With their ambition to promote the initiatives of domestic football, the Pick-Up Professionals are also partners of the Clearer Water Irish Cup and the title sponsors of the Isuzu FA Vase & Trophy.
