The Renault Clio has underlined its class-leading status by winning the 'Best Small Car' category at the Autocar Awards 2024.

The iconic supermini beat its rivals to the number one spot after impressing the renowned magazine and website's judges with its unrivalled combination of comfort, generous specification and engaging driving dynamics.

On naming the Renault Clio its small car champion, Mark Tisshaw, Editor of Autocar, said: 'With the latest Clio, Renault has gone to great lengths to drive up the perceived quality, refinement and composure to what we might call big car levels. It feels terrific inside, is well equipped and still competitively priced. And today it's the most fun supermini to drive.
