Colin Dougherty was the first non-Prototype competitor across the finish line, taking the checkered flag a solid ninth overall and securing the B.R.M. GTM win in his 2008 No. 92 Porsche 997 Grand-Am Cup prepared by DAS Sport. The B.R.M. Historic division win saw Benjamin Myers pull off a repeat victory in his Wolf Motorsports 2001 No. 29 Carbir CS2 Sports 2000. Myers won the B.R.M. Endurance race in the same car last April in HSR's The Mitty at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. Other victory lane visitors of note on the weekend included HSR NASCAR Classic race winners Justin DeFoor and Brian Norman who flip-flopped the finishing orders in the Saturday and Sunday sprints. DeFoor won Saturday's opener in his 2014 No. 16 Ford Mustang to lead second-place finisher Norman to the line. On Sunday, Norman stepped up for the win in his 2006 No. 41 Dodge Charger while DeFoor took the checkered flag in P2. Next up on the HSR schedule is the NASCAR Classic at NASCAR's Bank of America Roval 400, October 12 - 13. The Charlotte HSR debut is followed by the 10th running of the Classic Daytona 24 Hour presented by IMSA at Daytona International Speedway (DIS), October 30 - November 3.
