Hyundai Motor America is excited to announce the Hyundai EV Experience & Multi-Point Inspection Event, inviting customers from all communities to explore Hyundai's latest electric vehicle lineup. This event aims to engage a diverse range of attendees, including fast-growing segments of the EV market such as the Asian American community. The event will take place at The Source OC in Buena Park from November 11 to 24, with test drives and complimentary inspections available on November 16 and 17.
This special exhibition will feature Hyundai's electric vehicle brand, IONIQ, showcasing the 2025 IONIQ 5 N and IONIQ 6. The IONIQ 5 N, which set a production EV record at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb in June, will be displayed with commemorative event decals. Product specialists will be available daily from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. to provide vehicle information, and small gifts will be given to customers who participate in lead-generation surveys.
'As electric vehicles become more integral to our daily lives, Hyundai is dedicated to making the EV experience both accessible and enjoyable for all drivers,' said Sean Gilpin, chief marketing officer, Hyundai Motor America. 'Through events like the Hyundai EV Experience, we're not only showcasing our innovative lineup but also providing valuable resources like complimentary multi-point inspections and flexible ownership options to support our customers on their EV journey. We want every interaction with Hyundai to reinforce our commitment to quality, convenience, and the future of mobility.'
On November 16 and 17, attendees will have the opportunity to test drive Hyundai EVs, including the IONIQ 5, IONIQ 6, and Kona EV. After a simple on-site registration, participants can select the model they wish to experience. Anyone aged 21 or older with a valid U.S. driver's license is eligible, and all test drivers will receive a $20 gift card.
Michel Poirier, vice president of aftersales and customer experience at Hyundai Motor America, stated, 'We value our partnership with Shell in offering complimentary Multi-Point Inspections as a community service. Proper vehicle maintenance enhances customer enjoyment and plays a crucial role in ensuring safety and reliability. This initiative also provides a valuable opportunity for customers to experience and learn more about our Hyundai electric vehicles.'
This campaign is part of Hyundai's effort to actively support the transition to electric vehicles and enhance the convenience of its EV customers through a variety of dedicated programs. Hyundai is participating in a joint venture with seven leading automakers to develop the IONNA high-power charging network, with plans to open more than 30,000 charging stations nationwide by 2030. Starting in Q4 2023, all new and updated Hyundai EVs will be equipped with North American Charging Standard (NACS) charging ports, giving customers access to more than 12,000 Tesla Superchargers across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. In addition, Hyundai offers the Hyundai Home Marketplace, a one-stop shopping platform where customers can purchase and install home chargers, solar panels, and energy storage systems. The company also offers Evolve+, a flexible EV subscription service that allows customers to drive Hyundai's latest EV models without the need for purchase or lease agreements, helping them determine whether an EV fits their lifestyle.
