THREE FOX NETWORKS DELIVER 21 HOURS OF BARRETT-JACKSON PALM BEACH COVERAGE

Company press release.

Palm Beach, FL – National Geographic Channel, FOX Sports 1 and FOX Sports 2 are set for 21 hours of live and same-day coverage from this year's 12th annual Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Collector Car Auction. The multi-platform, interactive broadcast begins Friday, April 11 at 12:00 PM ET on FOX Sports 2, continuing on FOX Sports 1 at 3:00 PM ET. National Geographic Channel provides eight hours of coverage on Saturday, April 12 (12:00 PM ET), with FOX Sports 1 culminating the weekend on Sunday, April 13 (5:30 PM ET).

Last year's auction totaled nearly $21 million in sales; with $1.8 million raised to help numerous charities. This event is one of four Barrett-Jackson auctions; and Palm Beach annually sets the tone for the collector car industry's spring marketplace.

'At the 2014 Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Auction, the docket of cars we will auction is the largest ever,' said Craig Jackson, Barrett-Jackson Chairman and CEO. 'In each of the past 11 years, we have seen better cars and greater attendance at Palm Beach, and so we continued to increase our East Coast presence. This year is no different, with some phenomenal vehicles crossing the block at our lifestyle event, which makes for an exciting auction weekend.'

Interactivity for this year's Palm Beach Auction includes the Barrett-Jackson 'Social Garage,' FOXSports.com's multiple live-streaming cameras and the popular Hagerty Fantasy Bid Game, offering the audience an opportunity to score overall, daily and per-car prizes.

The Barrett-Jackson Social Garage is a key component for interactive auction coverage; driven on Twitter by @Barrett_Jackson and #BarrettJackson. Viewers can also connect via Twitter through FOX's on-air crew: Bob Varsha (@BobVarsha), Mike Joy (@MikeJoy), Steve Magnante (@SteveMags426), Rick DeBruhl (@rickdebruhl), Justin Bell (@justinbelltv), April Rose (@tweetAprilRose) and Tom Jensen (@tomjensen100).

Chevrolet and Ford are taking center stage for charity at this year's Thursday night gala on April 10, which will be a major highlight at this year's Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Auction. The first retail production 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 will go to the highest bidder with all the proceeds benefitting the Karmanos Cancer Institute. Ford is donating the radically modified 2014 Mustang featured in the movie 'Need for Speed,' with 100 percent of the proceeds benefitting the Henry Ford Health System.

To sign up for the Hagerty Fantasy Bid Game, viewers log onto http://www.foxfantasybid.com/, watch FOX's coverage and follow Twitter conversations using #BarrettJackson during applicable bidding times. To place a bid, enter the amount of the bid in dollars without punctuation. The winner is determined as follows; the first eligible entrant whose 'fantasy bid' is the same as or comes closest to the final gaveled sales price, without going over, of the selected vehicle. Winners are awarded points to determine each daily prize winner.
