• Automobile Magazine selects Porsche to its 2014 All-Star list

Atlanta. A pair of mid-engine Porsche sports cars joins the roster of this year's Automobile Magazine All-Stars. 2014 marks the 25th anniversary of this important award by America's leading automotive lifestyle publication. And for the eleventh time the Boxster and Cayman have been honored.

An array of cars, from sedans and SUVs to pick-ups and sports cars, competed in an intense three-day driving event on the road and on track for the coveted All-Stars label. Once the dust settled, the Automobile Magazine staff celebrated the ten winners during a great American road trip, from Ann Arbor, Michigan, down to New Orleans. 'From the Heartland of Ohio and Indiana, to some of our favorite driving roads in Kentucky and Tennessee, and on to the charms of the South, we were able to spend some prolonged quality time with our favorite cars of 2014.'

Automobile Magazine's verdict of the Boxster/Cayman: 'The accelerator pedal is as smooth and progressive as the volume knob on a McIntosh amplifier. The steering is so precise that you feel as if you're turning the car with your eyes. If you were to pick one car to demonstrate to someone what 'driving dynamics' are, the Cayman would be it.'
