Palos Verdes Pleasure Road Rallye Will Traverse One of America's Most Spectacular Drives
May 20, 2014 by Palos VerdesPalos Verdes CA – May 20, 2014 - Entrants in the annual Palos Verdes Pleasure Road Rallye on Saturday, September 13, will traverse one of America's most spectacular drives. Palos Verdes, which means green wood in Spanish, boasts large nature preserves, sandy beaches, rugged cliffs, horse riding trails, light houses, golf courses, and spectacular ocean views. The Rallye starts at the Rolling Hills Country Club in Rolling Hills Estates and ends at the Palos Verdes Golf Club in Palos Verdes Estates, where winning entrants will receive prizes and all drivers and passengers will enjoy the Palos Verdes Concourse d'Elegance's Kick-Off Celebration. The Rallye route, which will be a secret until September 13, will challenge entrants' driving, navigation and trivia skills, according to Rallye Chairman Larry Olson. Many of the Rallye cars will compete the following day in the Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance at the Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes.
