SUNDAY AT GOODWOOD: CAN YOU SPOT YOURSELF?
June 29, 2014 by Mercedes-Benz

Lewis Hamilton signed off the third and final day of the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed in spectacular style in his MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS W03 Formula One car – lighting up the tyres to the delight of the estimated 50,000 spectators.
When not in the car, Lewis Hamilton orchestrated the biggest selfie at Goodwood with a little help from Lord March, Sir Stirling Moss and Jean Todt when a giant Gigapixel image was taken of the crowd numbering in the thousands on the lawn in front of the House. The Gigapixel image can be found by logging onto www.mercedes-benz.co.uk/goodwood/gigapixel – if you're in the shot you can even tag yourself.
For those not at the Festival of Speed there's the chance to experience the sensation of taking on the 1.16-mile Goodwood Hill in virtual form through the innovative 360 degree cameras mounted to some of the most exciting Mercedes-Benz cars appearing at the event. You can try it by clicking on the link: http://bit.ly/1m7YKrI. The footage will form part of a special Goodwood app by Mercedes-Benz, launching next week through the iTunes store – the experience made even more vivid on an iPad by using the gyroscopic sensors in the device to control the action.
The Festival drew to a close with Mercedes-Benz cars, old and new, from the road and the race track and spanning a century having been celebrated in the most fitting way possible – being driven hard up the Goodwood Hill.
