COMEDIAN ADAM CAROLLA TO ENTERTAIN ON AND OFF TRACK
Company press release.MONTEREY, Calif., July 31, 2013 – Comedian and car enthusiast Adam Carolla returns to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca this year to compete in the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, a cornerstone of the Monterey Peninsula's Classic Car Week. Driving his 1988 Nissan 300ZX, Carolla will be featured in race group 6B. Carolla will also display his more humorous, off-track talents as he and Dr. Drew Pinsky team-up at the Sunset Center in Carmel on August 16 at 8 p.m. for a live performance of their popular show, Loveline. Carolla and Dr. Drew co-hosted Loveline from 1995 to 2005, providing a decade of hilarious love advice to listeners across the country. Fans and newcomers alike will enjoy the great stories and antics of Loveline and have the opportunity to participate in a live audience interaction with Carolla and Dr. Drew. Mazda Raceway's world famous track takes a trip back in time, August 16-18, at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, where historic cars from nearly every era return to the race track. This event features 550 historic race cars which provide fans with three-day's worth of race entertainment. The cars, which are selected for their historical significance, authenticity and period-correctness, are divided into 16 classes, based on type of car, displacement and era of origin. In commemoration of its 60th anniversary, this year's marque will be the classic American sports car – the Chevrolet Corvette.
